Sudo Smash is made by DropDev AB. This page says what the game stores about you, why, and how to get rid of it. It is short because the game collects little.
What is stored
- An account. A player id is made the first time you play, with no details from you. If you secure the account you also give an email address, or sign in with Apple or Google; we then store the address and which provider you used, so you can get the account back on a new device.
- What you have played. Your name, the robots you own and how they are set up, your compute, your season progress, your purchases and the matches you have reported. This is the game itself.
- What you have written. Club chat and club descriptions, kept so members can read the conversation and so reports can be judged.
- A device token if you turn notifications on, so we can send them. Turning them off removes it.
- Counts, not people. How many matches were played, which robots, how far players get. These are totals per day; they are not tied to you.
What is never stored
No advertising identifier, no location, no contacts, no microphone or camera. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Who else sees it
- Google Firebase holds the database and the sign-in, as our processor.
- Apple and Google handle purchases; we only ever see that a purchase was verified.
- Other players see your name, your emblem, your title, your compute and anything you write in a club. Your email is never shown to anybody.
Children
Sudo Smash is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep an account for one. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Keeping and deleting
Your account is kept while you play it. You can delete it from inside the game, under Account, and it goes for good: the player document, the club membership, the replays and the notification token. Reports filed about behaviour are kept for up to a year so a pattern can be seen, and then deleted. You can also write to us and ask for a copy of what we hold, or for it to be deleted.
